About John Yeh

John Yeh is a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon at the Queen Mary University of London, St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals. He is also the lead consultant in neurosurgery. Dr Yeh graduated from the University of Cambridge and completed his neurosurgical training in the West Midlands and has a doctorate in spinal biomechanics.

John Yeh's research interest includes biomaterials, spinal biomechanics and minimally invasive spinal surgery. He has written several publications, delivered oral and poster presentations at local, national and international meetings and has worn several awards.

"Many procedures can be managed effectively without resorting to surgery. Surgery should be as minimally invasive as possible, for less discomfort, quicker recovery times  and to reduce post-operative pain. My goal is to support patients in gaining their lives back, by using the most advanced minimally invasive techniques."
